John Clark Motor Group extends relationship with Jonny Adam

Aston Martin Factory Driver Jonny Adam will race during the 2025 season with the continued support of John Clark Motor Group, who have renewed for a second season. The relationship sees Jonny continuing to carry branding on his race helmet and race suit as he competes across the UK and Europe.

Jonny, who has claimed the British GT championship title a record four times, returns to the series as part of an unchanged line-up with Blackthorn AMR and Giacomo Petrobelli, driving the latest generation Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo.

Updated for the 2024 season, Jonny’s regular helmet design will remain unchanged for his latest challenge, continuing to wear the John Clark Motor Group logo alongside his other long-term sponsor, Asset Alliance Group. Introduced last season, Jonny’s secondary helmet design, in the dark green and fluorescent yellow of Aston Martin Racing will also be used across his latest campaign.

Jonny is one of several Scottish racing drivers sponsored by John Clark Motor Group, competing across multiple disciplines. The Group, founded over 50 years ago, is a family run and owned automotive business representing 19 brands of cars, vans and motorbikes across Scotland.

Ahead of the second year of competition supporting Jonny, Steven Watters, Group Marketing Director for John Clark Motor Group explained: “We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jonny during the 2024 season and are excited to see what he achieves in 2025. His commitment to success makes him a fantastic ambassador for John Clark Motor Group, and we are thrilled to be part of his journey.”

Jonny’s 2025 campaign will get underway at the opening round of the British GT calendar at Donington Park, over the weekend 5-6 April. He will attend the championship’s Media Day later this week at Silverstone, where the livery for his #7 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo will also debut.

Ahead of the first public event, Jonny explained: “I am excited to continue my partnership with John Clark Motor Group into the 2025 season. I’d like to say a big thank you to John and his team, who have been a great support since we started working together, and I can’t wait to get my racing activities in the UK and Europe started. I’m looking forward to hopefully sharing some more successes along the way.”
