#ITSOKTOTALK – A message from Jonny

As pictured above, Jonny will be carrying a special logo on his helmet when he races at Brands Hatch this weekend.

Andy’s Man Club was founded in memory of Andy Roberts.

Andy was a loving and doting father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was an all-round top guy, one of the truly nicest people.

Sadly and tragically without any warning Andrew, at 23 years old, was taken away from all his family and friends by suicide.

On average one man takes his life in the UK every 2 hours. It’s often said a factor is that men don’t talk.

Andy’s Man Club was formed to break down these stigmas. You don’t have to be suicidal or have a mental health problem, they just want to get men talking and are there if you need a chat.

I’m keen to play a small part in raising a bit of awareness of men’s mental health this weekend, especially on the back of how hard it has been for so many people due to the Covid-19 pandemic over the past year or so,” Jonny explains.

“It will be great to see a limited number of fans allowed back at Brands Hatch, and hopefully being able to attend motor races again will be something that everyone can look forward to in the year ahead.

“In the meantime, if you ever feel like you need to blow off some steam or get something off your chest please get in touch with Andy’s Man Club as they will be there for you.”
